Passing Afternoon — Iron & Wine
This song never ceases to make me cry. Neither does the season 4 finale of House, “Wilson’s Heart”. Fittingly, this song closes out that episode (preceded by Bon Iver’s “Re: Stacks”)… and my face floods.
I’ve always had a lot of feelings about House, and tomorrow will hurt a little. It’s going to go ambiguously into an uncertain future, no doubt, like it always has. And I’m glad for it to end before it had a chance to destroy itself. It’s had its ups and downs no doubt, but it has always been one of my favorites.

Of Monsters and Men | Love Love Love
Well, maybe I’m a crook for stealing your heart away
And maybe I’m a crook for not caring for it
Yeah, maybe I’m a bad, bad, bad, bad person
Well, baby I know
So I think it’s best
We both forget
Before we dwell on it
The way you held me so tight
All through the night
Til it was near morning
‘Cause you love, love, love
When you know I can’t love
You love, love, love
When your know I can’t love
You love, love, love
When you know I can’t loveAnd these fingertips
Will never run through your skin
Those bright blue eyes
Can’t only meet mine across the room
Filled with people that are less important than you

fun |“Barlights”
Aim and IgniteI don’t need to be reminded that this is how it was.
I moved on, I passed a billboard down my block
that asks if I’ve had enough, and aloud I say “I’ve had too much”
when the truth is, I’m just getting started. Now all the barlights are blinking in time
to Mexican music, it’s taunting the pavement
and for the first time,
in a long time,
I feel alive! Can’t stop listening to fun. Melia, I am officially blaming you.
AHHHHHHAHAHA YES. NO REGRETS <3
